Job Description
The Distribution and Consolidation center Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for supervising, coordinating, providing leadership to and reviewing the work of assigned personnel. This position is responsible for logistics services activities to ensure full support to the consolidation activities through to final customer delivery in tandem with the Quebec Consolidation Centre. Utilize all transportation services in the most economical and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the logistics services budget and all related fiscal forecasting and planning activities.
- Ensure all logistics-related services comply with applicable environmental, health, safety, and other regulatory rules and regulations.
- Ensure the existence, maintenance, and functioning of an adequate system of internal controls in all functional areas of the department.
- Provide leadership support to other company business functions in the development of client solutions and transportation pricing requests.
- Support business growth as needed by analyzing logistical problems and developing new solutions as required, including system changes.
- Work closely with the R+B logistics group to ensure that all logistics practices are consistent between the two groups and transparent to the customer.
- Ensure that operating IT systems support the Logistics group's requirements.
- Monitor warehouse supplies for reordering
- Support the daily activity planning for all staff on shift to ensure staffing levels meet order volume levels.
- Ensure that all staff are properly trained on activities that they are expected to perform. Conduct follow up training as necessary or as processes are modified.
- Support the growth and development of direct and indirect reports, ensure annual evaluations are completed in a timely manner.
- Regularly review work processes and ensure that they are accurate and up to date.
- Cross train team members on different operational functions.
- Work with Human Resources and Operations Management to address any performance related issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings with the team, keeping them apprised of performance, safety and quality measures and initiatives.

Qualifications:
- University/college degree/diploma in an appropriate program.
- 3 - 5 years of progressive experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience working with 5S and lean manufacturing is an asset.
- Strong communication, presentation, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong PC application skills (eg. Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Slides).
- Strong management and leadership skills
The expected base salary range for this existing position is $65,650 - $82,050. Final base salary offers will reflect an assessment of the selected candidate's skills, demonstrated competencies, and adherence to our internal pay equity framework.
