OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
We are seeking experienced Lead and Senior Developers to help design, build, and deliver enterprise, cloud-based applications within a complex digital environment. These roles require strong hands-on expertise in .NET/C#, API development, system integration, scalable design, and secure engineering practices.

The ideal candidates will bring experience building integration-heavy solutions across multiple systems, preferably in Azure-based environments. They will be comfortable working in Agile delivery teams, contributing to technical direction, and delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions. This opportunity is open to both full-time salaried employees and independent contractors. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

• Design, build, and support enterprise applications and integration-heavy solutions in cloud-based environments
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and system integrations using .NET/C# and modern development frameworks.
• Contribute to scalable system design, API-first development, microservices patterns, and secure application architecture.
• Develop and integrate solutions involving healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR/HL7
• Work with Azure-based services, including Azure API Management, to support secure and scalable application integration.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, DevOps, and DevSecOps considerations.
• Collaborate with architects, Business Analysts, delivery leads, and technical team members to support solution design, sprint delivery, estimation, and backlog refinement.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities.
• Integrate with or extend Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate, where appropriate.
• Mentor developers, guide code quality, support architecture alignment, and help define coding standards, as required.

 

WHAT SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS YOU'LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

• Strong hands-on experience building enterprise applications in cloud-based environments, preferably Azure.
• Deep expertise in .NET/C#, API development, system integration, and RESTful services.
• Strong understanding of scalable architecture, microservices patterns, API-first design, and secure coding practices.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, performance optimization, and automated testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar tools.
• Ability to mentor developers, lead code reviews, guide technical decisions, and support development standards.
• Comfortable working in Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, Business Analysts, developers, and delivery stakeholders.

ASSETS: 

• Experience with FHIR/HL7 interoperability and exposure to React or Angular.
• Working knowledge of Azure services, with Azure API Management experience.
• Experience integrating with or extending Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, data platforms, or AI/ML integration
• Experience working in regulated environments, such as healthcare or public sector.
