Leads a team of senior technical professionals with an Agile mindset to support cross functional teams. Extensive Azure experience in addition to managing and maintaining an on-premise Datacenter footprint spanning multiple regions
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director, Infrastructure Operations & Support
Lead and manage a team of technical System Administrators.
Guide team members and ensure all the work assignment are being delivered with acceptable quality and meet Service level agreement
Lead the daily operations, including BUA Service and Change Requests, Incident Investigation / Remediation, and Monitoring of Systems and Services of the Systems and Storage
Deliver automation and pipeline provisioning of infrastructure services though IaC.
Experience migrating and operating Cloud infrastructure.
Manage Systems Infrastructure service offerings, ownership, and Service level agreements of services together with business RTO/RPO's. Including platform currency and capacity planning
Lead projects with development, applications, and operations teams to engineer, deploy, and support technical solutions
Participate in establishing and enforcing of technology standards and processes related to Systems and Storage for the service offerings
Provide technical infrastructure support and coordination for escalated incidents and problems from engineering and operations teams
Lead the team responsible for the daily operations and monitoring of our co-location data centers Systems and Storage
Plan, acquire, and coordinate installation of hardware and software across our Systems and Storage
Participate in audits producing necessary documentation, reports and explanations
Enforcement of data security, premises integrity and access procedures observing company security policy
Enforces and creates documentation related Systems and Storage for the service offerings, and best practices
Coach and help mentor team members
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or a related field of study or 12+ years of equivalent IT working experience
Over 8 year in a senior technical position
At least 4 years of experience a lead position
At least 8 years of experience building and maintaining of Windows and Linux Servers
Experience in systems patching and vulnerability management.
Experience in architecting solutions on a Cloud Platform (e.g. Microsoft Azure or AWS)
At least 3 years of experience with scripting, automation, and orchestration technologies and languages like batch, PowerShell, VBScript, Ansible, Python, Puppet and Github.
Experience monitoring, and performance tuning tools
Experience with at least one of the following Redhat Linux and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.· Working knowledge with at least one of the following technologies Windows Active Directory (users & computers, groups, OUs, GPOs), File (DFS, NFS, and CIFS), Exchange server/O365, Backup software, Clusters, Datacenter architecture, PKI, RADIUS, DB, Citrix
