OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Mariner is seeking experienced consulting leaders to help clients solve complex business and technology challenges while driving growth, delivery excellence, and long-term client success.


We are looking for professionals with strong backgrounds in management consulting, technology consulting, digital transformation, or professional services leadership who can operate effectively across strategy, planning, execution, and relationship management.


Depending on experience and capability, successful candidates may be considered for Manager- or Director-level opportunities across consulting delivery, business development, operations, and growth leadership functions.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

  • Lead client engagements from strategy through execution.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with executive and senior client stakeholders.
  • Support business development activities, including account growth, opportunity development, proposal support, and strategic pursuits.
  • Lead complex transformation initiatives involving people, processes, technology, and organizational change.
  • Manage multidisciplinary consulting teams and delivery programs.
  • Contribute to practice development, service innovation, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Support the financial management of engagements, including forecasting, utilization, profitability, and delivery performance.
  • Drive high levels of client satisfaction and long-term relationship growth.
  • Collaborate across consulting, delivery, sales, and executive leadership teams to achieve business objectives.


WHAT SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS YOU'LL NEED:

  • Experience in client-facing consulting roles within management consulting, technology consulting, professional services, or transformation environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex programs, projects, or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience managing executive-level client relationships and influencing business outcomes.
  • Understanding of consulting business models, engagement economics, resource planning, and operational performance metrics.
  • Ability to balance client success, delivery excellence, and commercial objectives.
