What will you be doing?

• Work with the team to manage, configure and implement state of the art infrastructure technologies at one of the main datacenters and provide multi-cloud connectivity to external resources.
• Manage, control and support various 3rd party service providers.
• Monitor and proactively act on the systems to enhance performance and stability.
• Provide Tier-2 support on all IT Infrastructure & Network technologies on Help Desk tickets
• Manage patch schedule with 3rd party providers and the business to keep all systems up to date.
• Collaborate with other IT specialists to develop and implement IT's tactical and strategic objectives
• Implement and advise on cybersecurity best practices, actively monitor and work with 3rd party security providers to prioritize and implement any recommendations.

• Provide necessary support to the Business Users and others IT department on systems, networks and applications.
• Document and develop standard operating procedures for the systems managed by himself or 3rd party service providers.
• Establishing Standard Operating Procedures and Knowledgebase articles for the Help Desk Portal

What skills, experience and education are we looking for?

• University Degree (or) College Diploma in Computer Science
• 5 years or more of experience working in IT
• Experience with RedHat server systems.
• Experience with advanced network equipment (layer2/layer3/firewall) *Cisco nice to have.
• Knowledge of the following would be an asset:
  • Cisco ecosystem (Network switch, routeur, firewall, umbrella)
  • HPe SAN&Server
  • Mcafee, Malwarebytes
  • Cybersecurity knowledge
  • SIEM
  • Citrix
• Experience as IT Support. Network Administrator, System Administrator, Linux Guru will be considered an asset
