Job Description and Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Temporary Tow Truck Driver for our Buck Auto Parts location in Regina, operated by Interpro Recycling. Responsible for the safe and efficient pickup and transportation of vehicles from residential, commercial, industrial, and other customer locations to Interpro Recycling facilities. Provides professional and courteous customer service while representing the company, safely operates and maintains assigned towing equipment, ensures vehicles are properly inspected and secured, and complies with all applicable transportation and safety regulations. Works closely with Bucks Operations Manager to manage scheduled pickups, communicate delays or concerns, and ensure reliable service to customers.
Safey operate tow trucks and related equipment to inspect, pick up, transport and unload vehicles from residential, commercial, industrial and other customer locations
Verify required customer identification, vehicle registration, ownership documentation, and payment information in accordance with company procedures
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, vehicle condition reports, and transportation documentation
Perform routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance, including fluid, tire, and equipment inspections, and report maintenance concerns as required
Coordinate with Bucks personnel regarding scheduled pickups, delays, access issues, customer concerns, vehicle conditions, and other service requirements
Provide professional, courteous, and respectful customer service, including handling customer inquiries, concerns, and cash or other approved payment transactions
Maintain assigned equipment in a clean, safe, secure, and roadworthy condition while complying with company safety policies and applicable transportation requirements
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Saskatchewan Class 3A license with air brake endorsement
2–3 years of commercial driving, towing, vehicle transportation, delivery, or related experience
Previous experience operating tow trucks or transporting passenger vehicles is considered an asset
Clear five-year driver's abstract meeting company requirement
Knowledge of vehicle make and models, towing practices, vehicle handling, and applicable transportation requirements
Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication, and de-escalation skills with a personable, professional, and respectful approach
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple scheduled pickups and changing priorities
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations, identify hazards, and make safe decisions independently
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Physically able to push, pull, and lift to 50 lbs
