Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager or National OEM Sales Manager, the OEM Sales Account Manager, targets, coordinates and execute sales strategies for the Original Equipment Manufacturers Segment to meet and exceed sales targets by creating added value for the customer and ABB, with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities

  • Promoting the sales of Variable Frequency Drives and Electric Motors within the scope of OEMS in different Market segments, such as HVAC, COG, Food & Beverage, Water & Waste Water, etc.
  • Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions for Major OEM Accounts.
  • Creating, implementing, and executing sales and account strategy to meet and exceed regional sales targets for OEMS.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitors activities and ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels with key customers as well as market influencers.
  • Developing and supporting synergies with other ABB business lines and developing joint pursuits to leverage existing ABB customer relationships.
  • Ensuring that the major accounts in the segments are identified and prioritized.
  • Mapping market requirements and opportunities to actions for ABB and coordinating with Divisions, Sales units and other relevant teams (such as Group/Strategic Account teams, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) teams) to implement these.
  • Identifying, mapping, converting and onboarding new OEM account in BC and Alberta.

Your background
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with experience in technical selling is an asset.
  • Proven track record in sales, strategic business development (10 years+).
  • Demonstrated experience in management of customer accounts and sales strategy.
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM platforms, SalesForce.com a plus.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Applicable regional industry knowledge and experience in Serial OEM Development - additional LV Drives and NEMA Motors a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% with Western region (Occasional national travel).
