In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you'll do: 

• Connect with prospective sellers to understand their business needs for our marketplace and convert them to clients.
• Prospect, identify, qualify, acquire, and grow seller commitment to selling on Best Buy marketplace.
• Identify and build relationships with key influencers within the executive teams of prospective accounts.
• Understand the specificity of your categories to spot trends, seasonal items, and motivated pricing.
• Track prospects, pipeline results, interpret reports and information for your portfolio. 

What we're looking for:

• 1+ years of experience in business development in a marketplace.
• 3+ years of experience as a buyer or in sales or working in an account management environment.
• Understanding of the e-commerce sector, non-new merchandise, the industry landscape and encompassing awareness of competitor product offerings”

Base pay range

Annual salary: $77,000.00 - $82,000.00

This role is bonus eligible
