Koch Fertilizer Canada, ULC is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to join the team as a Casual Ammonia Operator to contribute to the organization's value creation capabilities. Our Team

Based in Brandon, Manitoba, Koch Fertilizer Canada ULC's (KFCU) operations have been producing agricultural fertilizer products since 1967. We synthesize and blend nitrogen, phosphate and sulfur products with ammonia, which we market primarily in the prairie provinces of Canada and the northern United States. Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, we employ approximately 270 dedicated team members. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, successful applicants will be hired into this position at $23.34/hour. All overtime is paid at double time.

The length of this position may extend up to nine (9) months; recurring terms as well as permanent employment opportunities are also available based on the value you create!

What You Will Do

• Panel or Field Operator Experience in operating a Kellogg 1350MTPD Ammonia Plant. Fired Boiler operation, Ammonia Refrigeration storage/Production, Large H.P rotating Turbines & Compressor's.
• Able to work day and 12 hour rotating shifts as required
• Work on a variety of tasks

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Ability to pass a pulmonary breathing test/wear a gas mask-type respirator and PPE
• Available for shift work and emergency call outs based on job requirements
• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Experience in operations or related industrial experience

What Will Put You Ahead

• Emergency Response, First Aid and Industrial Fire Fighting experience
• Pursuing Power Engineering
