****Referral bonus premium $1,500.00**** As a Senior IS Functional Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and information systems solutions. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of information systems, business processes, and a proven track record of successful project delivery. The Senior IS Functional Analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for implementation by the IT development team.
Your responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering:
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements for information systems.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive understanding of business needs.
  • Functional Specifications:
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, considering system capabilities and constraints.
  • Clearly articulate functional specifications to the development team, ensuring a shared understanding of project objectives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to provide insights and clarification during the development process.
  • System Design and Configuration:
  • Participate in the design and configuration of information systems based on functional specifications.
  • Ensure alignment of system design with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with technical architects and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Translates ambiguous ask into processes, policies and business requirements.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements and drives decision regarding improvement opportunities.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure that the implemented solutions meet business requirements.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues during testing phases.
  • Conduct system integration testing to validate end-to-end functionality.
  • User Training and Support:
  • Provide user training and support during system implementations.
  • Create documentation and training materials to facilitate user adoption.
  • Address user inquiries and issues, collaborating with support teams as needed.
  • Develops comprehensive plan to implement process changes (includes training, communications, supporting doc, tools impact, etc.)
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the organization's information systems.

Your background
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field or More than 15 years' experience as a Functional Analyst or similar role, with a focus on information systems.
  • Experience with MARC warehouse management system.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning).
  • Knowledge of database management and SQL.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • In-depth understanding of business processes and their alignment with technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
