Job Description

Talent Acquisition Manager

Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 + 10% bonus

Location(s): This role can be fully remote with a preference for someone who could be at both our locations for 1-2 days a week or month or quarter - very flexible; Locations include: 335 Steelcase Road East (L3R 1G3) and 61 McPherson Street (L3R 3L3).

Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, you will own the SinaLite talent pipeline, tools and vendor relationships. Using a consultative approach, you will be responsible for enhancing the SinaLite employer brand, recruitment processes and candidate experiences across the entire portfolio while reporting on and improving key talent metrics to demonstrate tangible gains.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruitment processes that identify top industry talent
  • Lead Employer Branding initiatives and strategies
  • Build relationships with relevant local post-secondary and trade programs to promote the SinaLite brand and employee experience 
  • Deliver innovative talent attraction strategies for a wide variety of positions
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to align on needs and appropriate compensation
  • Source, screen and present identified talent for consideration
  • Partner with hiring managers to design an appropriate timeline and experience for each role
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide leadership to other members of the Human Resources team

Competencies & Requirements:

  • Proven track record in full-cycle recruitment within a high volume environment for a diverse portfolio of positions
  • Strong understanding of current labour market conditions and relevant employment legislation
  • Ability to stay organized while running several concurrent searches for different candidate profiles
  • Prior experience using Ceridian Dayforce Recruitment Module and other search tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed etc.
  • An effective communicator who can quickly connect with candidates and hiring managers; proven negotiator 
  • Adaptable and agile
  • Project Management experience
