Job Description
As Showroom Application Manager within the Corporate Design & Marketing department, you will report to the Director, Workplace Intelligence. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing guidelines for the integration of newly launched products into showrooms.
- Coordinating new layout, tools and assets for use by regional showroom managers.
- The management of the Design Days showroom design development project phase and assistance during the implementation phase.
- Ensuring brand consistency across all showrooms using furniture planning and finishes applications and design guidelines.
- Coordinate with the Design and Corporate Marketing teams to determine and prioritize new products to be integrated into showrooms
- Serve as a liaison between Corporate Design and Marketing and the various regional showroom teams in the reallocation and/or decommissioning of showroom assets.
- Support the roll out of Teknion Brand initiatives into showrooms.
- Be responsible for the Design Days showroom design and specification, managing all aspects from layout design and product selection to cross-functional coordination with internal and external teams
- Act as a key member of the Workplace Intelligence team in the identification and communication of optimal planning with new and existing products for use in visual assets and digital marketing initiatives
- Specify and execute product orders when necessary
What qualifications and education are preferred for this role?
- College or university degree in Interior Design, Environmental Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Knowledge of the contract furniture industry.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in furniture specification software (CET, Project Matrix or Cap2020), AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Keyshot or other visualization software, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
- Well-developed analytical and strategic thinking skills and be detail-oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Must have excellent time management and organizational skills
