YIT an Alta Company is seeking a full-time Rental Coordinator for our Woodbridge, ON location. Rental coordinators will identify customer needs, coordinate deliveries, and perform inventory control for our rental department. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities :

• Arrange equipment transfers and logistics
• Manage fleet availability, utilization and returns
• Coordinate with our Service Dept. repair and maintenance of rental fleet. It includes walking around forklifts in the shop and speaking to technicians.
• Manage customer relationships
• Close rental deals from inbound inquiries and outbound calls
• Manage vendor relationships
• Provide customers with expert advice on equipment selection
• Generate rental customer invoices
• Track and update report for all rental inventories
• Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years of previous related experience
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Knowledge of material handling equipment, their application and safety (preferred)
• Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Epicor/SILK systems
