Life Cycle and Materiel Manager (LCMM) – Naval Architecture (Hull) Specialist
Position Summary
Thales Canada is looking for a Life Cycle and Materiel Manager (LCMM) – Naval Architecture (Hull) Specialist to support its non-Combatant In-Service Support Programs for the Royal Canadian Navy.
The LCMM – Naval Architecture Specialist is responsible for engineering support and technical oversight of various hull systems and fittings on board the AOPS and JSS class ships, including but not limited to hull and marine systems, including mooring and anchoring systems, outfitting, marine structure and coatings, propulsion systems, lifesaving equipment, and lifting appliances. Accountable to the Operational Support Manager and working directly with various internal and external stakeholders, this role manages various activities to establish and maintain the configuration and design intent of the hull systems and fittings on the ships and manage any changes through their end-of-life and divestment.
The successful candidate will leverage their existing knowledge and expertise in hull and marine mechanical systems and equipment to become a subject matter expert and main point of contact for all technical matters associated with the systems assigned thereto. The principal objective is to maximize effectiveness and efficiency, while minimizing the Life Cycle Cost (LCC) associated with the support of their systems.
Regulatory Compliance Requirement
This position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List and/or the US the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be eligible or able to obtain authorization for such access.

The reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash (TTC) $95,000– $105,000 -$130,000 CAD Annual.
This reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls 5within this range is also dependent on other factors including – but not limited to – the employee's career path history, competencies, skills and performance, as well as the company's annual salary budget, the customer's program requirements, and the company's internal equity. Thales may offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's status protected by local, state, or federal law.
