This role in for an On-Shift(Rotating) Maintenance Technician

What are we looking for?

Looking for a certified Electrician(309A/442) Journeyperson with Certificate of Apprenticeship or a minimum of seven years of work experience as a Journeyperson.
5 years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in an industrial.
Be able to work a 12-hr rotating shift schedule.
Be able to work within a diverse team or as an individual to perform daily job tasks.
Have a good technical understanding in working highly automated processes and systems.
Excellent communications skills.
High regard for health and safety.
A desire for continuous improvement.
Been familiar with SAPPM would be an asset.
Knowledge of different PLCs, PLCs software and control systems would be an asset.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Troubleshoot and Repair equipment. Read and interpret electrical drawings, maintenance manuals, troubleshooting guides, understand PLC ladder logic and function block.
Effective and safe use of electrical test and recording equipment.
Assist operations in Setup of equipment.
Perform daily administrative skills using a computerized maintenance system.
Perform and completed scheduled preventive/corrective maintenance task.
Identify equipment Abnormalities and take the appropriate action.
Mentor and Teach apprentices on proper ways of working.
Coach operators on how to perform CIL's tasks.
Work with Day Techs on Continuous Improvement projects.
Support in root cause analysis and prevention of future breakdown events .
Effective communication for shift handovers, work order feedback, daily site review meetings (past 24 hrs), and activity coordination between other shifts
Participate in other duties as required.
