Position Summary

Thales requires a Supportability & Reliability Analyst to conduct, coordinate and assist in the preparation, revision and support of all supply support tasking for the AOPS and JSS Program to ensure that the data is accurate, complete, procurable and consistent across the support solution.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Review vendor documentation and identify supply support requirements.
  • Support the LCMM team in determining required spares and spares quantities to support equipment by reviewing technical publications and usage data as well as interacting with Thales' engineering, procurement and service delivery personnel, Technical Authorities or ship staff.
  • Process and maintain Material Requirements Planning entitlements for all storerooms.
  • Support the LCMM team and Service Delivery in identifying the maintenance or spares required to support Short Work Periods or Docking work Periods.
  • Support Engineering personnel with the development of Engineering Change proposals as they pertain to materials and material management.
  • Support the AJISS Enterprise stakeholders by addressing spares queries as well as material-based problem reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications

  • An Engineering degree or two-year diploma from a recognized university or college (mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial, reliability naval engineering or logistics) or certified as one the following technical trades of the CAF:  Marine Technician RQ-PO2, Weapons Engineer Technician RQ-PO2, Legacy QL 6A Marine Engineer, Legacy QL 6A Marine Electrician, Legacy QL 6A Hull Technician, Legacy QL 6A Naval Electronics Technician, or Legacy QL 6A Naval Weapons Technician. 
  • Five years or more experience within the last 10 years conducting Logistics Support Analysis in maintenance and supply support of complex systems or equipment.
