Job Description

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC - ON THE ROAD

Summary of responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose defects or malfunctions
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand or power tools
• Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other regular maintenance on equipment
• Complete all required reports and forms related to work assignments
• Record time and materials used in performing assigned tasks
• Maintain the condition of the mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Other related duties

Skills

• Valid driver's license with an exemplary driving record
• At least one year of experience in the crushing industry
• At least three years of experience as a heavy equipment technician
• Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to use basic computer functions
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Punctuality

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Start and end of shift varies depending on travel requirements.
