Job Description

AULT a company of Alta Equipment Group, is seeking a full-time Shipping/Receiving Clerk in Waterloo, QC. The main responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:

Summary of responsibilities

• Maintain secure records of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Use the system to ensure that inventory is accurately maintained, sales orders, purchase orders, etc.
• Pack materials for customer orders
• Unpack materials for restocking inventory
• Ensure quality control of goods by checking incoming and outgoing shipments
• Schedule incoming and outgoing shipments
• Safely operate company vehicles: forklifts, 4x4s, loaders, etc.
• Prepare and/or approve shipping documents
• Report any damaged stock or equipment to the supervisor
• Ensure that all safety measures are followed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Required skills

• Bilingual in French & English in spoken and written (functional)
• High school diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift loads up to 100 lbs.
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail
• Forklift license (an asset)
