The Role

PBS Systems is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Account Executive to drive the growth of our Dealer Image Pro (DIP) product line throughout Western Canada.

Dealer Image Pro is PBS Systems' digital marketing and online merchandising solution designed to help dealerships maximize their online presence, generate leads, improve inventory presentation, and increase vehicle sales. DIP provides automotive retailers with powerful tools to enhance digital engagement and strengthen their competitive position in the market.

The Account Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing the sales cycle from prospecting through close, and expanding the adoption of Dealer Image Pro within automotive dealerships throughout Western Canada.

This role requires a highly driven sales professional who can build relationships with dealership owners, general managers, sales managers, and marketing leaders while demonstrating the value of digital retailing and online marketing solutions

This position will be based in our Calgary Head Office or remotely from Vancouver BC.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive sales through proactive outreach to new and existing business contacts and customers, identifying opportunities and communicating the value of our solution
• Manage the sales process from initial outreach through qualification, objection handling, follow-up, and closing
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity reporting, pipeline information, and forecasts
• Build and maintain productive relationships with customers through professional phone and email communication
• Research customer needs, investigate questions independently, and identify practical solutions
• Analyze sales performance and relevant data to identify opportunities, monitor progress, and support informed decisions
• Manage administrative requirements and customer-related follow-up while maintaining sales momentum
• Adapt to changing priorities and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and support business objectives
• Occasional travel may be required within Canada and US

 

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, account management, business development, or another sales-driven environment
• Confidence initiating phone and email conversations, handling rejection, and navigating objections

• Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship-building  and communication skills and the ability to articulate a product's value clearly and persuasively

• A self-directed approach to research, problem-solving, and managing competing priorities
• Familiar with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and standard business software
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to maintain reliable sales records and forecasts
• A willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly and become productive with limited day-to-day supervision
• Familiarity with dealership operations, inventory merchandising, lead generation, and digital marketing strategies will be a strong asset

• Experience selling SaaS, software, digital marketing, automotive technology, or dealership solutions will be a strong asset

• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to travel throughout Western Canada if required
