As a Senior BIM Coordinator who leads BIM coordination on complex, large-scale, and higher-risk projects within a dynamic architecture and engineering environment. This role is responsible for ensuring high standards of model quality, multidisciplinary coordination, and BIM execution while enabling project teams to perform foundational BIM coordination activities effectively within their projects.

In this role, you will act as both a senior technical resource and hands-on coordination lead, providing mentorship, guidance, and practical support to project teams where dedicated BIM resources may be limited. You will promote consistent BIM standards, support coordination issue resolution, and help build sustainable BIM capability across the organization through day-to-day project engagement and applied knowledge sharing.

You Will Make an Impact by

  • Leading BIM coordination on complex, large-scale, or higher-risk projects while overseeing multidisciplinary model integration and advanced coordination workflows. This includes validating model quality, coordination outcomes, and data integrity at key project milestones to support accurate, constructible, and efficient project delivery.
  • Ensuring BIM execution plans, standards, templates, and coordination protocols are consistently applied across projects
  • Reviewing and validating model quality, data integrity, and coordination outcomes, supporting project teams in meeting delivery requirements through proactive quality management and clear interpretation of BIM expectations.
  • Leading advanced clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination processes, tracks and supports resolution of coordination issues, and resolves complex modeling, interoperability, and workflow challenges beyond routine support. This role reduces coordination risk and rework through proactive issue identification, practical troubleshooting, and collaboration with project teams and consultants.
  • Providing practical BIM guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support to project teams and BIM Coordinators.
  • Helping team members develop confidence in foundational BIM coordination tasks, model management practices, issue tracking, and model quality expectations while sharing lessons learned and workflow improvements through active project collaboration.
  • Leading or supporting coordination meetings involving complex issues, risks, and resolutions. This includes presenting coordination challenges, recommending practical technical solutions, collaborating with project teams, consultants, discipline leads, and Design Technology resources, and supporting alignment of BIM expectations, workflows, deliverables, and coordination responsibilities.
  • Supporting the implementation of BIM technologies, coordination tools, and approved Design Technology workflows while identifying opportunities to improve coordination efficiency and reduce project rework.
  • Identifying recurring coordination issues and systemic model challenges, escalates significant project risks, contributes to the refinement of BIM standards and workflows, and helps strengthen organizational BIM capability through project-based support and mentorship.

You Will Bring to the Team

  • Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline
  • 5–7 years of progressive BIM coordination experience on increasingly complex projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination across large-scale and multidisciplinary projects
  • Proven experience leading coordination efforts, and the ability to resolve complex modeling, interoperability, workflow, and coordination challenges
  • Possess a strong understanding of BIM standards, clash detection workflows, coordination processes, data integrity, and project delivery methodologies
  • Ability to mentor BIM Coordinators and supporting project teams with varying levels of BIM proficiency
