Territory Marketing Manager - Manitoba

Your Job

We are currently seeking a Territory Marketing Manager, within the Koch Fertilizer Canada Sales and Marketing team to cover a sales territory in MB based out of the office in Brandon, MB . You will be responsible for growing sales, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding market presence by acting as a trusted partner to growers, retailers, and distributors. This is a field-based role with a high level of autonomy and accountability. The successful candidate must be comfortable managing risk positions, be a self-starter, have a strong understanding of market fundamentals, proven analytical abilities, a trading mentality, and capable of developing and maintaining positive relationships with industry counterparts to promote future business

You will join a collaborative commercial team focused on delivering value to customers through strong relationships, reliable operations, and market-driven solutions. The team works closely across sales, marketing, operations, and technical resources to support territory success and long-term growth. This role plays a key part in executing regional strategy and contributing to overall business performance.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, develop and manage Koch Fertilizer's product marketing strategies in Manitoba
  • Cultivate profitable customer relationships with key customers
  • Develop and execute demand origination, terminal opportunities and other growth strategies for the marketing region
  • Develop and manage the product inventory, demand forecast and liquidity plans for Koch Fertilizer assets and terminals
  • Create, maintain and communicate short-term and long-term POV and marketing strategies based in: key drivers of supply and demand, trade flows, competitive analysis and price setting mechanisms
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within the territory
  • Position and promote products and solutions aligned to customer needs and market opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform territory strategy
  • Support product launches, promotions, and seasonal sales initiatives

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including air
  • Manual dexterity to operate a desktop computer and peripherals
  • Availability for flexible hours based on job requirements

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales or marketing roles supporting agricultural products or service
  • Experience communicating with customers, internal partners, and organizational leadership in a professional setting
  • Experience independently planning and executing work while managing multiple priorities in a field-based environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications in a professional work environment
  • Valid class five (5) driver's license

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience managing key accounts and channel partners, including retailers, cooperatives, or large growers
  • Ability to support pricing discussions, contract execution, and customer negotiations within established guidelines
  • Background in fertilizer, crop inputs, agricultural chemicals, seed, or related ag-industrial markets
  • Agronomy-related certifications (e.g., CCA, P.Ag., or equivalent)
