Under the supervision of the Unit Controller, the Accounting Technician is responsible for client billing, completing financial analyses, and participating in the month-end process.
Responsibilities:
Process customer billing;
Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses, and perform necessary adjustment entries;
Work collaboratively with the Controller;
Work with the collections department to optimize the unit's accounts receivable;
Provide necessary support during month-end and year-end;
Perform any other administrative tasks as requested.
Requirements:
College diploma in accounting or a combination of relevant education and experience;
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;
Strong command of both French and English is required, as the position involves frequent communication in both languages, both spoken and written. We have colleagues, clients, and partners in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and the United States;
Ability to work in a multitasking and high-pressure environment;
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
Intermediate proficiency in Excel;
Experience with Microsoft D365 (F&O) is an asset.
