Your Mission

Sledgehammer Games is looking for a Dialogue Designer to help create a fresh new AAA aural experience for our next project. Candidates shouldbe versed in dialog editing and processing techniquesand have a general knowledge of dialog pipelines. You will report to our Dialogue Director and help ensure delivery of the highest quality dialog with the use of internally developed proprietary tools.

  • Edit, design and process dialogue assets for all aspects of our game.
  • Collaborate with the Dialogue and Narrative Teams, ensuring excellent inter-departmental communication and alignment of goals.
  • Interactive and linear dialogue design.
  • Dialogue asset implementation using proprietary tools.
  • Apply studio and departmental standard methodologiesofdialogue workflows and systems.
  • Inspire teamwork and collaboration inside and outside the Audio Dept.

Player Profile

  • Demonstrated knowledge of various aspects of game dialogue.
  • Some knowledge of both linear and interactive dialogue systems.
  • Minimum three years of experience in game audio development.
  • Shipped one major title.
  • Understanding ofPS5, XBOXSeries X, and PC audio functionality, capabilities, and limitations.
  • Experience with at least one major digital audioworkstations.
  • Experience with middleware programs such asWwiseandFmod.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptionalorganizationskills.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Individual contributor with at least5+years experienceorcombination withCollegedegree.

Bonus XP
  • FPS/Multi-playerexperiencea plus.
  • Audio scripting experience.
  • Continuing Education Certificate, Professional or advanced degree in programming, audio engineering, or similar preferred.

The standard base pay range for this role is $103,720.00 - $137,080.00 CAD. These values reflect the expected annualized base pay range of new hires in Ontario, Canada. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. Apply
