WHERE YOU COME IN

We are looking for a Manager, Digital Marketing to join our team at Make-A-Wish® Canada. In this role, you will lead the execution and optimization of revenue-generating digital marketing programs, translating national strategy into high-performing campaigns across email, paid digital, web conversion, and analytics.

Working closely with internal digital teams and managing Digital Marketing Specialists, you will drive day-to-day performance in support of fundraising, acquisition, stewardship, and retention goals.

This role can be based in Toronto, Vancouver or Edmonton and is a full-time, hybrid, permanent position. The hiring range for this role is $83,000 to $88,000.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Own day-to-day performance of revenue-generating digital channels, including channel-level revenue, conversion, and efficiency targets, with a focus on fundraising and acquisition outcomes.
  • Lead execution and optimization of digital fundraising, acquisition, and stewardship campaigns across email, paid digital, and website experiences, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize donor journeys across the full lifecycle, from acquisition through conversion, stewardship, and retention, to drive cohesive and high-performing supporter experiences.
  • Oversee email marketing strategy and execution across acquisition, fundraising, and stewardship, including lifecycle management, testing, segmentation, and continuous performance improvement.
  • Drive website conversion optimization in support of fundraising and acquisition goals by defining priorities and partnering with digital service teams on updates, testing, and enhancements.
  • Provide campaign and channel-level analytics and reporting, translating performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Directly manage and coach Digital Marketing Specialists, prioritizing work and fostering strong collaboration across fundraising, brand, creative, CRM, and regional teams.
  • Champion a collaborative culture by cooperating across teams and geographies, with mission-driven leadership.
  • Other duties as required.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with demonstrated success driving revenue through email, paid digital, and website optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with GA4 and Looker Studio for performance reporting and insights; experience with Tableau is an asset.
  • Proven experience planning, executing, and optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Meta, Google, display).
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics, testing, and conversion optimization.
  • Experience managing and developing team members.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is an asset.
  • Experience in nonprofit or purpose-driven organizations is an asset.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and evolving needs.
  • A clear Criminal Background Check will be required.

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Hybrid work model, with 2 days in-office per week and 3 days remote.

  • Work under pressure of tight deadlines, balancing high volume workload, and with multiple demands and changing priorities.
