Based in Brandon, Manitoba, Koch Fertilizer Canada, ULC's operations have been producing agricultural fertilizer products since 1967. We synthesize and blend nitrogen, phosphate, and sulfur products with ammonia, which we market primarily in the prairie provinces of Canada and the northern United States. Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, we employ approximately 290 dedicated team members. Transportation Shift Supervisor

Koch Fertilizer Canada is looking for an energetic, highly organized individual to join the Transportation team. This individual will provide prompt, professional and high-quality support to allow the organization to create value. What You Will Do

• Drive strong stewardship and compliance in transportation activities, with a focus on maintaining employee safety
• Lead, prioritize work, track and improve performance on key department goals and objectives
• Lead your team by providing open, honest feedback and developing them to maximize their contributions
• Work with all groups to identify opportunities to strengthen relationships to become a preferred partner
• Seek opportunities to educate and coach team members in initiatives, strategies and behaviors that exemplify good business practices in the loading and storage of fertilizer products
• Select, develop, and retain individuals with the right values, beliefs, knowledge, and skills that align with our principles
• Develop and implement sustainable strategies that empower individuals to contribute to their potential and elevate the employee experience
• Work a rotating shift or day shift as business needs dictate
• Availability for up to 10% travel

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• High School Diploma, GED, or completion of an apprenticeship or trades certificate
• Valid Class Five (5) Driver's License
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications in a work setting
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Maximo preferred
• Experience developing and implementing improvement initiatives within a team or department
• Ability to work a rotating shift or day shift as business needs require
• Ability to travel up to 10% as required

What Will Put You Ahead

• Leadership experience (i.e. leading a team or project, responsible for direct reports)
• Experience working in an industrial/chemical manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Canadian and US Transportation Regulations and Canada Industry Weights and Measures
