The Role:

The v10 Apex Onboarding & Adoption Team Lead is responsible for leading and supporting the v10 Apex Onboarding & Adoption team in delivering successful customer deployment, transition, and product adoption initiatives for PBS v10 Apex Software. This role combines operational leadership, customer engagement, and team development to help ensure customers successfully integrate PBS v10 Apex into their dealership workflows and achieve long-term success with the software.

The v10 Apex Onboarding & Adoption Team Lead works closely with customers, internal departments, and team members to oversee complex implementations, support operational excellence, drive product adoption, and promote consistent training and deployment standards across the v10 Apex Onboarding & Adoption team. In addition, this role provides leadership, mentorship, coaching, and performance management to v10 Apex Onboarding & Adoption Specialists, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain advanced knowledge of PBS v10 Apex products, dealership operations, and implementation workflows to support customers and team members effectively
  • Lead and support complex customer training, deployment, and transition initiatives within assigned functional areas
  • Oversee large-scale, high-impact, or operationally complex customer implementations and deployment initiatives
  • Monitor team performance, workload distribution, and customer engagement while coaching, mentoring, and supporting the onboarding and development of team members to promote operational excellence and consistent customer outcomes
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional departments to identify operational challenges and improve customer transition experiences
  • Drive accountability for implementation quality, customer adoption, and operational consistency across the v10 Apex team
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying operational needs, supporting successful implementation outcomes, and responding to internal and external training requests in a timely manner
  • Provide advanced escalation support and guidance for operational, workflow, and customer adoption challenges beyond the scope of v10 Apex Onboarding & Adoption Specialists
  • Investigate operational and customer issues, coordinate escalations with internal teams, and oversee workload management to ensure customer requests and v10 Apex queues are addressed appropriately
  • Monitor, follow up on, and provide feedback regarding enhancements impacting v10 Apex workflows, training delivery, and customer experience
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly planning/review meetings
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by gathering feedback and identifying opportunities to enhance training delivery, deployment processes, operational standards, team workflows, and the PBS product
  • Maintain departmental documentation while promoting consistent training, deployment, customer adoption, and operational best practices across the v10 Apex Onboarding & Adoption team
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment through knowledge sharing, mentorship, and professional communication
  • Support onboarding and role development for new team members within assigned functional areas
  • Conduct annual and semi-annual performance reviews
  • Assist in the recruitment process, interviewing prospective candidates
  • Willingness to commit to an ongoing system of education and cross-training

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience working at PBS, a dealership, or within the automotive industry
  • Management/Leadership experience
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks without direction
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA if needed
  • High School Diploma
