****Referral bonus premium $1,500.00**** The Smart Buildings (ELSB) business segment transforms commercial, industrial, and residential buildings digitally to optimize comfort, efficiency, safety, and security, thereby improving the quality of life in buildings of the future through sustainable electrification solutions, services, and products.Our emergency lighting manufacturing facility in Dorval (Canada) is hiring a sales specialist who will be responsible for the following:
Your responsibilities

  • Educate and support agents, distributors, contractors, and engineering firms working with the ABB products on our product portfolio.
  • Support and shoulder our sales network on market trends, answer their technical questions, and solve the issues of our business partners.
  • Develop our various business units such as Standard Emergency Lighting, Nexus Pro, Mini-inverters, and central system.
  • Work in collaboration with our various departments (Marketing, Order Desk, Central Systems, and Technical Support).
  • Support our agents and distributors during events such as Table Top, factory visits, congresses, and promotional events.
  • Be able to travel throughout eastern Canada for the purposes of the tasks mentioned above.

Your background
  • 5-7 years of experience in a sales position.
  • Good knowledge of the lighting products market and of the market of our agents and distributors.
  • Knowledge of the standards and applications regarding emergency lighting.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relations.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Diploma in electromechanics (an asset).
  • Be comfortable with giving training in both French and English.
