Civeo Pacific Northwest Employees LP is currently looking to fill positions for a Dishwasher/Pots at our site located at Kitimat. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean work area, cleaning all bins, containers, pails, pans, pots, etc and helping out with tasks in the kitchen where required. Reporting to the designated Supervisor, the successful candidate will work a 14 days on and 7 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts, and statutory holidays.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a Dishwasher/Pots include, but are not limited to:

  • Washing pots, dishes, glasses, cups and all other kitchen equipment after each meal and as needed
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of kitchen
  • Ensure the dishwashing area is always clean and free of debris
  • Report any damage, theft and abandoned articles to the Supervisor
  • Follow sanitation policies at all times
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures by following company safe work practices and standard operating procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Experience working in a kitchen is required
  • Experience using a large industrial dishwasher is an asset
  • Food Safety certification valid in the province of British Columbia for the duration of your employment is a requirement
  • Advance Food Safety is considered an asset
  • Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects away weighing up to 50 lbs
