Hours:                                 Continental Days (1900 - 0700hrs)

Pay Rate:                             $16.50/hourly

Site Description:  Lakeridge Health is one of Ontario's largest community hospitals, serving people across Durham Region and beyond. With five hospital sites and four emergency rooms throughout Durham Region from Ajax-Pickering, Bowmanville, Oshawa and Port Perry and one specialty hospital in Whitby. They care for 1600 people every day and have a staff 4,900 doctors, nurses and other health care professionals and over 1,500 amazing volunteers.

At the time of the interview applicant must be able to produce proof of completion of the following prerequisites:

1. Immunization Record
2. COVID Double Vaccination
3. A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
4. Vulnerable Sector Check
5. Proficient in English (both oral and written)
6. Vulnerable Sector Check

 

Successful completion of the following requirements provided by Paladin are mandatory prior to placement:

1. First Aid & CPR – Level C
2. Management of Aggressive Behavior
3. Use of Force
4. Report Writing
5. Additional courses as assigned
