With thousands of experts around the world and high-performance digital technology, ABB's team is dedicated to making measurement easy for its industrial and energy customers to let them operate more efficiently and profitably.Based in Quebec City and reporting to the production supervisor, the incumbent of the assembler position supports the business unit in achieving the production objectives set by adhering to the systems and processes. The business unit produces chemical analyzers that target various markets.
Your responsibilities

  • Perform optical, mechanical, and electronic assembly of our analyzers.
  • Perform quality control of these same analyzers.
  • Carry out the final tests while making sure to meet the quality standard.
  • Respect the processes in place.
  • Solve the problems encountered during assembly and testing.

Your background
  • The incumbent of the assembler position must have the skills required below:
  • Experience in electronic, mechanical, or optical assembly. (Asset)
  • Have a great capacity for learning and a keen sense of analysis.
  • Demonstrate autonomy, responsibility, and versatility.
  • Combine high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Be thorough and skilled manually.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Love to solve problems
  • A vocational training diploma in the following fields; Electromechanics of automated systems, Mechanics of stationary machines, Welding-assembly, and Manufacture of metal structures and fabricated metals, Welding-assembly. (Asset)
  • College degree in physics, electronics or an appropriate field. (Asset)
