What You Will Do;

  • Provide engineering support to a large manufacturing site, including project engineering, reliability engineering, equipment troubleshooting, cost and scope development and implementation of innovative design solutions.
  • Potential areas of focus include Motor/drive systems, Plant electrical distribution, Industrial Electrical Control systems, Instrumentation, Industrial Robotics and Automation.
  • Working with Process Engineers, develop and implement improvements to control logic and strategies, to optimize processes and reduce risks related to Safety, Environmental, and Quality.
  • Assist with the implementation of the State Based Control projects preparing supporting documents, functional description, and assisting with HMI graphic development
  • Assist with the reverse engineering of the site's older control systems and bringing them to the current standards.
  • Advance the site's Asset Performance Monitoring strategies. Seek out and apply emerging technologies in sensors, analytics, vision, and data modelling

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Currently enrolled in a University Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical or similar Engineering degree in 3rd or 4th year.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
