Position Summary

Central processing technician is billing expert responsible for supporting our pharmacies across Ontario by reviewing all billings to ensure it is accurate and consistent per pharmacy and company standards.

Your Day To Day:

• Review pharmacy billing of prescriptions upon submission to insurance plans, and rectify billing as needed in the KROLL dispensary system.
• Communicate and coordinate with pharmacies to support and improve billing practices at store level
• Document billing rules and procedures
• Run, review, analyze and act on pharmacy billing reports
• Communicate with third party plans to ensure appropriate prescription billing
• Communicate with customers to address their billing concerns
• General data entry and additional tasks as required

What You Will Bring to The Team:

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a pharmacy assistant or technician
• Minimum 2 years' experience with KROLL pharmacy dispensary system
• Knowledge of pharmacy dispensing and funding models, and public & private insurance plans' coverage criteria in Ontario
• Experience with long-term care and retirement community clientele
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication, data entry and calculation skills
• Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and organized

Compensation Range: $44,000 to $48,000 annually. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate's credentials and experience.

Location: This is a 100% remote position

Opportunity: This is a current existing position and it is for a 12 month contract.
