Our Team

The Canada Benefits Team owns the strategy, compliance, and operational delivery of health, welfare, and retirement plans for Koch's Canada-based businesses. We collaborate with HR Business Partners and other internal partners to ensure employees receive timely, accurate benefits support and a positive end-to-end experience. What You Will Do

  • Quickly build effective relationships with customers and employees.
  • Provide guidance and serve as the subject matter expert for all leave-related matters.
  • Manage compliance with applicable leave of absence policies and disability plan. documents in accordance with provincial/federal regulations including Employment Insurance regulations, human rights requirements and privacy standards.
  • Work with customers and employees to resolve knowledge-related questions and issues related to return-to-work paperwork.
  • Constructively challenge processes and administration of the leave of absence process

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience supporting leave management and disability administration in Canada, including familiarity with Employment Insurance regulations, provincial/federal leave laws, and human rights requirements
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying complex regulatory requirements to individual employee situations
  • Experience building trust and communicating effectively with employees during sensitive personal situations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with competing deadlines and minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

For this role, we anticipate paying $105,000-$125,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
