Your responsibilities

  • Technical Sales for ABB Solutions within identified target segments.
  • Drive growth within target segments by generating new demand and positioning ABB to win.
  • Visit key accounts and customers for site walks, technical sales meetings, and solution sales pitches / negotiations.
  • Create Sales and Marketing plans to drive demand generation for ABB solutions for specific regions.
  • Prepare and coordinate technically and commercially competitive proposals with the supporting teams.
  • Support conceptual system designs at the bid stage with cost estimating exercises.
  • Be the market voice of customer (VOC) to strategically direct our product development teams.
  • Support the development of a market relevant value proposition that includes Grid Compliance and Digital solutions
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets.

Your background
  • 3 years pertinent experience in technical sales of industrial equipment to Power & Energy Industry.
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (B.Eng.).
  • Must be a team player and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills (internal and external).
  • Strategic selling ability and strong negotiation skills.
  • English written and spoken. French is an asset.
  • SalesForce.Com experience desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Excellent business acumen.
  • Experience in Project Business Environment.
