POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Measurement Analyst to apply and scale a unified measurement capability across advertising, enabling clear proof of performance and value for clients. This role is responsible for ensuring measurement approaches remain aligned with evolving industry standards, business strategy, and market expectations.

The Measurement Analyst will develop and operationalize scalable measurement frameworks while executing complex and high-impact analyses where required. This role will bridge deep technical expertise with commercial impact, supporting full-funnel marketing effectiveness and driving revenue growth. This is an existing vacancy, and this position is a hybrid role based in Toronto.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to and execute a standardized measurement framework across advertising products and platforms, ensuring consistency in how performance is measured across full-funnel KPIs (awareness, engagement, conversion).
  • Define and establish experimentation standards (e.g., A/B testing, geo-testing, incrementality) and develop repeatable testing playbooks to enable scaled adoption.
  • Design and execute complex or high-priority experiments where standardized frameworks do not yet exist.
  • Develop scalable measurement solutions such as campaign reporting, attribution frameworks, and audience insights that can be consistently applied across clients.
  • Partner with Product and Data teams to operationalize and productize measurement capabilities into repeatable, commercial offerings.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and clients by translating measurement outputs into clear, actionable insights.
  • Lead complex or high-impact analyses to support client needs and inform future scalable measurement approaches.
  • Analyze campaign performance to identify drivers of success, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.
  • Develop benchmarks and best practices that can be scaled across verticals and products.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Ad Tech teams to drive adoption of measurement standards and frameworks.
  • Train and enable internal stakeholders to independently apply standardized measurement approaches.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across measurement and reporting systems.
  • Define and enforce taxonomy, data standards, and governance practices to support scalable and reliable measurement outputs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, marketing, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in media measurement, marketing analytics, or advertising strategy.
  • Understanding of full-funnel media measurement (brand through performance).
  • Experience designing and executing experiments (e.g., A/B testing, geo testing, incrementality frameworks).
  • Strong data fluency, including experience working with large datasets and tools such as SQL, Excel, or business intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear business insights and narratives.
  • Experience managing stakeholders across Sales, Product, Marketing, and client groups.
  • Ability to work independently and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, measurement methodologies, and evolving privacy considerations.

Preferred

  • Certifications in Google Analytics, marketing analytics platforms, or experimentation methodologies.
  • Experience working with multi-channel media datasets and attribution models.
  • Experience with attribution modeling, marketing mix modeling (MMM), lifetime value (LTV), segmentation, or causal inference techniques.
  • Familiarity with the ad tech ecosystem, including DSPs, CDPs, clean rooms, and identity solutions.
  • Experience building scalable measurement frameworks or products.

SALARY: The base salary for this role ranges from $84,000 to $105,000 per year. Placement within this range depends on a candidate's level of experience, technical skills, and alignment with the role's requirements. Candidates who have been identified as meeting the role's requirements can expect to be near the midpoint of this range, while the upper end is reserved for those with specialized expertise or a strong track record of success in comparable roles. This role may be eligible for The Globe's Sales Incentive Plan, which is based on a combination of corporate and revenue objectives and rewards individual performance.
