You bring superb technical skills, can-do-attitude, and experience providing outstanding on-site customer service. You'll join an organization that has a great culture and a schedule that allows you to improve your work-life balance. As a Field Service Technician at Moneris, you are a team member that oversees field operations and focuses on installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing or replacing electronic devices. You will report to the Team Lead, Field Operations.
Efficiently troubleshoot problems related to multiple equipment and peripherals such as computers, printers, networks, cash registers and points-of-sale systems.
Analyze problems and make recommendations to root causes and corrective actions and always ensure that our merchants are satisfied with the issue resolution.
Install computers, printers, cash registers and points-of-sale systems and upgrade software.
Build great relationships with our merchants by maintaining a professional attitude.
Maintain organization of tools, equipment, materials, our vehicle and the workplace.
Post-secondary certificate in electronics, information technology or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution
Ability to test and solve problems related to computing and network or point of sale terminals (POS)
Knowledge of computers, general networking concepts and internet usage
Great interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and to handle calmly situations ranging from routine to emergency
Flexible for rotating schedules which includes evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays (schedules are always communicated in advance)
A valid provincial driver's licence
