The CPFR (Collaborative Planning Forecasting & Replenishment) Analyst is a critical support role to ensure on-shelf in-stock excellence of Mars products, thereby providing our consumers with the ultimate enjoyment of our products.
The CPFR Analyst is the primary point of contact for the retailer replenishment team at top customers. This role is critical to developing a high-quality relationship with our customer and plays a vital internal role supporting sales growth and driving operational efficiencies while working collaboratively with the Customer, Sales, Demand, and Supply Planning.
The success of the CPFR Analyst is measured by on-shelf availability (in-stocks), customer case fill, and improvements to the multi-Enterprise demand signal (MDS) operational forecast.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in Supply Chain or Operations Management.
- CPFR experience is highly preferred.
- Customer-facing experience is considered an asset (e.g., Customer Excellence, Sales, Supply Chain).
- Ability to travel locally to customer offices as required.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI is highly preferred.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Develops strong collaborative relationships at all levels of the customer's supply chain, as well as with Mars Sales, Demand and Supply Planning and Customer Supply chain teams.
- Improves retailer demand signal & Mars Multi-Enterprise demand signal (MDS) operational forecast.
- Analyze retailer data for item master & location changes and ensures appropriate changes made in data.
- Analyze retailer POS data for +/- vs. forecast and history for changes Responsible for improving and supporting retailer event planning and execution in collaboration with Demand & Supply planning. Events include new items, new stores, discontinuations, promotions, displays, etc.
- Owns and manages customer specific Service as Measured by Customer (SAMBC) metrics and provides proactive communication and action plans to mitigate service risk. Track Customer Forecast Accuracy/Bias and communicate to stakeholders and influence changes with customer based on actual demand/supply.
- Track Item/Category seasonal profiles and collaborate with customer.
- Track Events forecasted / non forecasted & actual performance Develops analysis and scorecards for communication to the customer and key cross functional teams to improve overall supply chain compliance and effectiveness.
- Leads collaboration meetings with internal/external customers in order to identify opportunities to maximize profit and minimize costs.
- Demonstrates action-oriented problem-solving mindset utilizing the voice of the customer through operating reviews including Account & Supply Reviews.
- Works collaboratively with cross functional teams to identify and analyze root cause and ensure resolution plans are executed as agreed to drive supply chain excellence & improved KPIs.
- Leads customer impact analysis and resolution during periods of supply constraints.
- Identify and drive efficiencies in the Cost to Serve through optimization of ordering patterns, MOQs, customer specific requirements and freight programs.
