Job Description and Responsibilities
EVRAZ North America is seeking a Campus Recruiter to support our North American Talent Acquisition (TA) function. In this rewarding role, you will be the primary point of contact for college and university recruiting.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy creating solutions that streamline service delivery across TA. Strong follow through and being detail-oriented are critical to this role. This position reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and can be based in Calgary, Alberta or Denver, Colorado.
Build and maintain relationships with college and university representatives, students, campus organizations, faculty, and key diversity community-based partner organizations that align with EVRAZ NA business goals and objectives
Own career fair registration, organization, and participation
Develop and implement campus recruiting strategies
Source, engage, and hire post-secondary talent for internships and other positions
Build a talent pipeline for future hiring needs
Work with HR, TA and business leaders to drive diversity and inclusiveness initiatives
Work with HR and business leaders around workforce planning and setting a schedule for a successful annual recruitment process
Work with HR and business leaders to create a top notch campus onboarding program, along with an experience that will influence interns/students to come back to EVRAZ NA year over year
Own booth display development and shipping, and giveaway swag inventory
Present campus recruiting performance to key stakeholders
Requirements
Degree in Human Resources (HR) or relevant field
3+ years of experience as a Campus/University Relations Recruiter
Demonstrated recruiting strategy development and execution experience
Experience developing and implementing diversity recruiting strategies
Knowledge of HR policies and best practices an asset
Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Workday preferred
Ability to prioritize and successfully work in a matrix organization
Proactive and flexible problem-solving skills
Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results
Strong collaborator and ability to work independently
Demonstrated experience in handling sensitive situations and details with high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality, exhibit a high level of integrity at all times
Ability to travel up to 50% particularly during peak college recruiting times
Must have to a valid passport to travel internationally
Compensation
$65,000 - $80,000
