We are looking for friendly and confident Security Professionals to support & maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

The role of a Security Professional can be both physically and emotionally demanding. Security Professionals are responsible for providing support, empathy, customer service, and public safety to not only to employees, but also visitors, clients, and patients. This dynamic environment can be both enjoyable and exciting, but also stressful. Our industry-leading management team provides 24-hour support for our employees, with an emphasis on proactively minimizing risks and responding to incidents with real-time guidance.

As a security guard, you will:

• Provide support to the visitors and employees, while maintaining safety and security of the overall site.
• Respond to requests for assistance, often providing the first response to emergency situations.
• Document and report all incidents.
• Provide access control in/out of the facility, as well as within restricted areas of the facility.
• Monitor and respond to incidents identified around property, including on cameras.
• Conduct patrols of the facility, monitoring for risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances/exits, mechanical issues, hazardous materials, and general security breaches.
• Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance.
• Investigate and report any irregularities that are identified through the course of your duties.
• Monitor and screen visitors and clients in professional manner
• Report all incidents as per specific site regulations
• Follow and enforce safety codes, regulations, and procedures
• Monitor risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical issues, hazardous material, and additional breaches of security
• Respond to and de-escalate high stress situations maintaining order on site

• You hold a valid AB Security license or are willing to obtain one prior to commencing work with Paladin Security.
• Experience in a healthcare environment is considered an asset
