We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to help us in our overall marketing efforts. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion.Our Marketing specialist should be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. You should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics. The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will help our reputation and growth. ABB Service is growing, and this new role is pivotal to our success and goal of profitable growth.
Your responsibilities

  • Work with Marketing and Sales Manager to execute yearly and 5-year growth plans.
  • Develop deep understanding of local customer, competitor and industry dynamics to identify and prioritize product/offering differentiation points, pricing trends and customer needs for business.
  • Capture market and customer insights through VOC, data and analytics to optimize the effectiveness of the sales & marketing team in region.
  • Design and execute demand creation strategies through direct and indirect marketing activities (events, campaigns, promotions) to acquire new customers, grow the existing portfolio, generate new pipeline and accelerate sales opportunities already in pipeline, ensuring that all such activity is closely aligned to Sales priorities in the region.
  • Manage and lead demand generation campaigns using Pardot/Marketo/SFDC, ensuring database quality, campaign effectiveness and conversion rates.
  • Develop marketing materials; digital, social media platforms, presentations etc
  • Manage Install Base data and extract pertinent market information to assist in offer & campaign development, competitor analyses and lead generation.
  • Collaborate on the localization and development of all new product/offer launches, including commercialization packages, standard pricing levels, quote sheets, advertisements, scopes of work etc.
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows to market products and services as required.
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas. (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Manage local budget and resource allocation effectiveness.
  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.
  • Strong safety focus and safety attitude required at all times.

Your background
  • Respective education in Marketing, university, or college degree.
  • 5-10 years proven marketing experience specializing in digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Automation Platforms Pardot/Marketo/SFDC.
  • Knowledge of the electrical industry would be an asset.
  • Willingness to learn and be creative.
  • Able to work independent and as a team.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English would be an asset.
  • Open to new ideas while drawing on proven experience and successes.
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment, where growth plan is 10% year over year.
