As a business financial analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing several factory accounting components. In collaboration with the various segments and departments, you will be called upon to represent the Accounting Department in several areas: investments, process control, project monitoring, production cost, and others.Under the responsibility of the ELIP business controller, you will examine business performance, including financial modelling to predict impacts and risks, and recommend areas for continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities

• Prepare the analysis of various investment projects and carry out the follow-ups.
• Prepare various analyses related to the cost price.
• Participate in the budget process and the development of standard production costs.
• Actively participate in the month-end process.
• Prepare and analyze inventory and efficiency reports
• Supervise and control the maintenance of inventories.
• Develop and monitor the internal control processes
• Ensure effective communication with all teams to identify and discuss issues and suggestions for improvement.

Your background

• Professional affiliation: Chartered Professional Accountant
• Have 5 to 10 years of experience in cost pricing.
• Excellent analytical thinking, ability to identify relationships between multiple parts of a problem or situation.
• Knowledge of the AS400 system and SAP an asset.
• Ability to work in a team and in cooperation with others to achieve the goals of the organization.
