This role is a 12 month assignment/contract role
The Key Account Manager - Grocery is accountable for delivering business segment objectives and share of customer volume by delivering sales strategic objectives at the lowest possible cost. They are also responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive customer business plans to deliver annual operating plan within trade investment plan.
What are we looking for?
- University degree or equivalence
- Significant experience in blue chip FMCG/consumer products
- Ability to engage with customers and form relationships within customer organization
- Excellent customer business management skills.
- Excellent Budgeting and trade scenario planning skills.
- Fluent understanding of CAS forecasting and trade management system (asset)
- Understanding of key software enablers (Nielsen, IRI, etc.)
- Category management experience & strong analytical skills (asset)
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Develop comprehensive customer business plans to deliver all business segment objectives
- Manage the trade promotion budget at assigned customers in harmony with Mars policies and procedures and within assigned budgets
- Responsible for accurate forecasting process of multiple grocery accounts
- Supporting effective online strategy and presence across customers where required
