REPORTING

 

The DZ Boom Truck Driver reports directly to the General Manager at Woodbridge Glass Distribution

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Prepares vehicle for delivery in our Woodbridge facility by ensuring that all products are loaded, secured and all required paperwork is completed
• Load/unload truck using an overhead crane or boom crane.
• Operates vehicles to deliver products to customers and unload using the boom crane.
• Maintains accurate delivery and pick up records, electronic log book, inspection report, maintenance, etc.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and circle checks
• Ensures safety rules and regulations are upheld
• Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY OPERATE IN THE ROLE

• Valid DZ license, clean abstract and CVOR
• 3+ years of verifiable work experience as a DZ Driver
• Ability to drive manual transmission.

• Boom Crane Certified
• Experience loading/unloading glass with a crane.
